Operating under the framework of Eling Grup, one of the leading companies in the energy sector, Solarit Academy offers a unique training model that combines theoretical education with professional practice. Established with the vision of building a highly qualified workforce in the renewable energy sector, the Academy delivers specialized training programs focused on the installation, maintenance, and engineering of photovoltaic (PV) systems.

For the theoretical part, the academy has modern training rooms equipped with contemporary infrastructure that meets the highest teaching standards. For the practical part, candidates are trained with the latest technology equipment, including the opportunity for hands-on training at the academy’s own 2 MW solar park in Pejë – one of the largest demonstration capacities of its kind in Kosovo. The educational concept of Solarit Academy is based on the dual learning model, where in addition to the theoretical part, special emphasis is placed on real on-site practice, enhancing the candidates’ abilities for immediate integration into the labor market. The most successful candidates also have the opportunity to be involved in company projects or to be recommended for employment in the private energy sector.

To ensure quality and alignment with the latest technological developments at the international level, Solarit Academy has established a partnership with the German Association for Renewable Energy (DGS – Deutsche Gesellschaft für Sonnenenergie) based in Berlin. DGS is an organization with extensive international experience in the development of solar academies and professional training.

• Young Engineers Development: Focused on empowering young professionals, with a strong emphasis on gender inclusion to encourage greater participation of women in the renewable energy sector.
• Industry Partnerships and Practical Work: Collaborations with leading organizations, including ELING Grup, A+ Electric, DGS Berlin (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Sonnenenergie), Helvetas Switzerland – Enhancing Youth Employment, and the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency (LuxDev), providing real-world experience through practical, field-based projects.

• Solarit Academy has trained and certified several groups of professionals in solar energy, including professors from Vocational Education Centers in Prishtina, Ferizaj, Mitrovica, and other cities.
• Organized the first Training of Trainers (ToT) for solar system installation, with leading experts from Germany.
